What is SKINPROJECT?

By Erin Murphy

Discover SKINPROJECT, The New Wave of Chemical Peels. As the home of the latest in innovative aesthetic treatments, we’re proud to add SKINPROJECT to our market-leading portfolio. But, what is SKINPROJECT and how does it compare to other chemical peels out there? Find out all about SKINPROJECT below and why it’s the next must-have product to secure for your clinic.

Introducing SKINPROJECT

SKINPROJECT is a powerfully effective chemical peel range with the ability to radically reduce the appearance of acne, scarring, hyperpigmentation, and the signs of ageing. The SKINPROJECT range is designed to deeply exfoliate the skin to rebuild and protect the skin barrier.

What makes SKINPROJECT stand out from other available chemical peels is its distinctive nanotechnology formulation. These peels work deeper into the skin more than other peels available, providing the ultimate deep cleanse.

What SKINPROJECT Products Are There?

In the SKINPROJECT range, there are 3 chemical peels available. Also included are a range of priming and aftercare products, designed specifically for use in combination with SKINPROJECT chemical peels. Below you can find out about SKINPROJECT chemical peels and their properties in further detail:

  • SRT – SRT consists of salicylic acid alongside other skin-enriching ingredients to reduce the appearance of scars, enlarged pores, folliculitis, hyperpigmentation, light ageing and stretch marks.
  • JESSNER – This chemical peel consists of many skin-rejuvenating ingredients, with active ingredients such as salicylic acid and lactic acid. Therefore, Jessner is ideal for improving skin texture and reducing the appearance of certain skin concerns such as hyperpigmentation, keratosis, and melasma.
  • EYE – This peel contains two skincare ingredient favourites for brightening and smoothing the skin: glycolic and lactic acids. In addition to several other restorative components, NANOPEEL Eye’s carefully crafted formula works to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, scars, sun damage and age spots around the eye area.

Why Choose SKINPROJECT?

At Fox Pharma, we aim to provide cutting-edge aesthetic treatments, providing quality products while maintaining affordability. SKINPROJECT is the latest range exemplifying this mission, as its ability to provide quality, transformative skincare at a fraction of the standard chemical peel price makes it a new clinic essential.

In addition, it has unique properties, a thixotropic, gel-to-liquid formula which makes it stand out against other competitors. It’s suitable for those aged over 18 and is also suitable for all skin types, meaning that it’s a beneficial treatment for a wide variety of demographics.

Treatment Protocol

The structure of SKINPROJECT makes its application incredibly simple. These peels hold a solid structure until energy is added,  then as a result become more fluid. This allows for accurate and simple application and less product waste.

The SKINPROJECT treatment process has some slight variations depending on which product you provide. However, the process is fairly similar and is explained below in further depth in a simple and quick 4-step process:

Step 1 – Prep: Using SKINPROJECT Nanopeel Prep, cleanse the skin to remove excess oils and sebum build-up.

Step 2 – Peel: Select your choice of peel: Nanopeel SRT, Nanopeel Jessner, or Nanopeel Eye, and apply a thin layer to the skin, making sure to follow each product’s specific protocol. Leave for the maximum amount of time stated on the product information leaflet and the product will begin to crystallise. When the affected area is crystalised, the peeling process is complete.

Step 3 – Remove/Neutralise: Once the peel has crystallised, use the SKINPROJECT Remover Gel to gently remove any chemical peel residue. The SKINPROJECT Remover Gel should only be used for Nanopeel Jessner and Nanopeel SRT peels. For the Nanopeel Eye peel, use the Nanopeel Neutralising Red Gel to stop the frosting of the chemical peel.

Step 4 – Nourish: Use the SKINPROJECT Nanopeel Nourish as the last step in your SKINPROJECT routine to help nourish and relieve your clients’ skin following a peel.
